Awareness is empowering. Most of the eXtraordinary people I have met or worked with have been incredibly self-aware.
Pick up the life story of any change-maker, and you will find all of them to be self-aware to a level we can't even imagine.
I met someone recently, an extremely confident person, go-getter and hustler—a person who was extraordinarily aware and conscious and had invested well in her awareness.
She was facing a unique challenge:
-She was aware of but not taking actions.
-She knew she had to move ahead, but she won't. -She has been holding herself back; some fear was holding her back.
-She was uncomfortable coming out of her comfort zone.
We have all been there. There are times when we know it all, fully aware, but we don't take that first step. We don't take action waiting for that perfect moment to act, and then we realise it's too late.
Law of inertia also applies to human behaviour; the first steps are the most difficult one. But that first step is the only way you would ever move ahead.
